Partizan earned 14 million euros last season but had a deficit of 500,000 euros. 3.7 million euros of tax debt was paid, helped by the campaign the club launched earlier this year. The remaining sum will be covered by a loan the member of the Board of Directors will give.

In their first season in the EuroLeague after an eight-year break, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade surprised many European basketball fans and were on the verge of qualifying for the Final Four.

The club attracted tens of thousands of fans in each game, setting multiple EuroLeague season records and writing the numbers in all-time attendance lists. Players like Mathias Lessort and Kevin Punter established themselves as EuroLeague stars.

Partizan also won the ABA League following a ten-year drought.

In a press conference after a Board Meeting, the club's president, Ostoja Mijailovic, revealed how much money the organization spent last season.

"Our expenses were 14,500,000 euros, and 14,000,000 were our income. We had a deficit of 500,000 euros," Mijailovic said.

"Our sponsorships range from 75,000 to 1.5 million euros. Partizan Management Board brings 6-7 million this season. Our budget is not small. This is the largest budget in history," he revealed.

This season, Partizan have sold 16,124 season tickets, setting a new EuroLeague record. Mijailovic said that a large amount of money is brought by the purchase of both season tickets and single-game tickets.

"They exceeded expectations in the budget part, with 690,000,000 dinars (~€5.8M) being the profit from it," Mijailovic said.

The club has battled state tax debts in recent years. Partizan even launched a campaign to collect money from the supporters to help the organization climb out of the debt.

"The action collected 1,670,000 euros. And that's because the members of the Board of Directors gave 800,000 euros. 22,000 people took part in collecting 820,000 euros," the club's president said. "I'd like to thank everyone because this was a risky action, it is special, and it showed how big of a family Partizan is."

"We paid 3.7 million in taxes, thus we paid all the contributions to all employees, so everyone could retire who was supposed to. What remained was 3.3 million euros that had to be paid. We started working on a loan where 10 of us from the Board of Directors would guarantee the loan that would last for 5-6 years," Mijailovic shared.
