This past summer, Australian national team guard Dante Exum made his return to the NBA, transitioning from his stint with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade to joining the Dallas Mavericks.

While this shift marks a new chapter in his career, Exum took a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences he gained during his time in Europe, particularly with Partizan.

"I still occasionally remember some scenes during the season that I experienced in Partizan," he told Mozzart Sport. "It was a period that will not be forgotten. I already talked to my teammates in Dallas, and I told them that it is an experience that every basketball player must have. The atmosphere created by Partizan fans is unimaginable."

Exum went on to say that if he ever decides to return to Europe, Partizan would be his first and perhaps only option.

"That passion in Europe, the fight on the court, the camaraderie created, the overall incredible connection with the club. Everything was like a dream. Let me say right now, if I ever return to Europe, Partizan is the first option and probably the only one," Exum underlined.

Upon his arrival in Dallas, Exum found himself welcomed by none other than Luka Doncic, the Mavs superstar and a passionate supporter of Crvena Zvezda, Partizan's archrivals.

Exum humorously recounted, "He immediately started throwing around Zvezda the first day I arrived. Derby is the first topic. However, I explained to him how things were -- who is the champion and who is the best. So I was ready for it."

Despite the friendly banter, Exum emphasized the great nature of Doncic and the warm reception he received from the entire team.

"Luka is a fantastic guy," he said.
