Days after being traded away from the Milwaukee Bucks, star guard Jrue Holiday was involved in another trade.

Holiday was involved in a three-team deal that sent Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Milwaukee Bucks. Three days later, the veteran guard is going back to the Eastern Conference.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, the Blazers traded Holiday to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Robert Williams III, Malcolm Brogdon, a 2024 1st-round pick, and a 2029 unprotected 1st-rounder.

Holiday has one year left on his deal ($34,954,667 for this season, player option for 2024-25), and the Celtics would like to retain the All-Star guard long-term, Woj writes.

The move completes a busy summer for both the Celtics, which acquired Kristaps Porzingis earlier in the offseason. Meanwhile, the Blazers get several players and first-round picks to continue a rebuild centered around this year's 3rd overall pick, Scoot Henderson.

Overall, the Blazers receivedDeandre Ayton, Robert Williams III, Malcolm Brogdon, Toumani Camara, and three first-round picks - top-four protected 2024 first-rounder from Golden State and two unprotected 2029 first-rounders from Bucks and Celtics. Additionally, the Blazers will have 2028 and 2030 pick swaps with Milwaukee.

The organization intends to keep both Ayton and Williams III, while Brogdon might be traded away, Wojnarowski adds.
