Pascal Siakam's diplomatic response to contract extension queries: "I pay my representatives for that."

Despite numerous rumors and speculation about Pascal Siakam being shopped around, he remains committed to the Toronto Raptors.

"I'm under contract. I'm a Raptors player," Siakam said at Media Day, via Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports. "That's what I'm focused on. I'm focused on the present."

Currently, in the final year of his contract with the Raptors, Siakam initially inked a four-year, $136.91 million deal back in 2019. In the upcoming season, he's set to earn $37.89 million before transitioning into an unrestricted free agent in 2024.

Regarding a possible extension with the Raptors, Siakam diplomatically remarked, "I'll leave those types of questions to the people that represent me. That's why I pay them."

During the 2022-23 season, Siakam averaged 24.2 points per game with a shooting efficiency of 48.0%, which included a 32.4% success rate from beyond the arc. His contributions also extended to 7.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per contest.
