Keenan Evans admitted he would consider playing for the Lithuania national team, adding that it would be interesting to see the EuroLeague Americans representing Team USA in major international tournaments.

Before the injury, Evans was an undisputed Zalgiris leader and the most beloved player among the fans. He averaged 15.9 points (45.8% 3PT), 3.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 17.4 PIR per game.
Evans decided to stay for 2ndseason in Kaunas, revealing he didn't talk with other teams.
"To be honest, I told my agent that I don't really want to talk with other teams," Evans told BasketNews' Lukas Katilius. "I was focusing on being healthy again."
"Zalgiris showed me respect since my injury. I didn't even want to think about moving to the other team, so I shut all the talks about it. I focused on rehab and coming back to the EuroLeague," Evans added.
Before Evans suffered an injury, many wondered how he would look in international basketball and, hypothetically, for the Lithuania national team.
Zalgiris and the Lithuanian Basketball Federation even made a joke on April Fool's Day, presenting Evans with the national team jerseys.
