Originally scheduled to depart on Wednesday for the Thursday game (October 12) in Milan, Maccabi contemplated an early departure.
However, consultations held on Sunday, considering the outgoing war and the ban on leaving Israel, led Maccabi to a different decision.
Walla Sport earlier reported that after discussions with the Ministry of Sports and other relevant entities, Maccabi opted to officially request a postponement of the game to the EuroLeague.
Regarding Hapoel, the team was scheduled to have a home game, but safety reasons prevented that from happening.
