Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv have been placed in an unprecedented situation. With one game already postponed, the club is looking for solutions.

With a war declared in Israel, the Maccabi's Thursday match in the EuroLeague against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has been suspended.

The club tried holding their first practice session since the attack on Sunday. Additionally, the organization is considering a move to have multiple away games in a row in hopes that the conflict will be over quickly.

According to Or Shkedy and Arale Weisberg from Walla Sport, Maccabi are considering switching games with Valencia Basket.

Their matchup is scheduled to take place in Tel Aviv on October 18th. If the plan is approved, Maccabi will travel to Spain instead and will host Valencia on March 28th. As such, the Israeli team would play three away games in a row and would only play at home on November 2nd.

The military conflict that caused severe disruption in the sports world began on Saturday when a surprise missile attack was launched from the Gaza Strip. Palestinian group Hamas was able to infiltrate Israel through various forms of transport and executed an unprecedented attack.

War readiness has been announced in the entire country of Israel, and an extensive mobilization has begun. As such, the Ministry of Culture and Sports has announced that all sporting events will be canceled until further notice.
