With a war situation underway in Israel, another change in the Euroleague schedule has been made.

Valencia Basket have announced that their game against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has been altered.

Instead of flying to Israel to play on October 18th, Valencia will host Maccabi in Spain that day at 20:30 CET. In return, both teams will meet in Israel in March.

The change allows Maccabi to play three away games in a row, leaving room for the military situation to change in the meantime.

Despite it originally being an away game for Valencia, it will now become a home game for the team instead, and local fans will be allowed to attend the game regularly.

Meanwhile, the Israeli team is on its way to transporting the entire squad to Cyprus. Their game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, which was supposed to take place on Thursday, October 12th, has already been suspended.

The venue of the EuroCup game between Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv and Umana Reyer Venice will change as well, the EuroLeague announced. The match on October 17th will take place in Venice instead of Tel Aviv. Meanwhile, the teams will meet in Tel Aviv on December 20th.
