Following the domestic game, PAO players faced a demanding schedule, enduring a 4.5-hour video review and a 2-hour practice the next day, totaling around 8 hours spent at OAKA on Tuesday.
Addressing the situation on Wednesday, just a day before their EuroLeague Round 2 matchup against FC Bayern Munich at home, Ataman shed light on the extensive video review, stating, "We spent 4 hours in the video review room. Maybe next week we will do 7 hours. We are working, we are a new team, and honestly, in those 4 hours, we were not only looking at Bayern. We analyzed our mistakes and saw what we did right. It was like an early season lesson in a classroom to check ourselves. It had nothing to do with Bayern."
"What happened was good for us," PAO center Aleksander Balcerowski said. "It was something the coach wanted, and we deserved the way we played in the last match. We watched two games in great detail, from the first to the last quarter. We listened to all the comments the coach made. We survived! We have to play better after that."
The Greens are set to play against Bayern on Thursday, October 12th, at 20:15 CEST. However, star guard Kostas Sloukas will not play in this game.
Ataman confirmed this absence, adding that Dinos Mitoglou will also be unavailable, and the status of Ioannis Papapetrou for the game remains uncertain.
"We will see about Papapetrou tomorrow," he said.
