One of the club's new signings, former NBA player PJ Dozier, talked about the video session and his relationship with Obradovic in an interview with Marko Vlahovic of Sportklub.
"We took our last EuroLeague game, took the film, and broke it down a lot just to see where our weaknesses were from the last game, trying to tighten those things up. We definitely put some good preparation to this game coming in. We're ready, and we're excited," said PJ Dozier of the Maccabi Tel Aviv game.
"I've been a part of a few of those in my career, having those long video sessions. At the end of the day, it's good - it's good for the team, it's good for myself. The video doesn't lie. Everything is caught in 4K, as we like to say. I think we took it, and we definitely benefited off it and learned a lot," spoke P.J. Dozier, shedding positive light on the long video session.
When asked about his relationship with coach Obradovic, the American forward had nothing but good things to say.
"He's great," Dozier said about his relationship with Obradovic. "You want to play for a coach that has high expectations for you and demands a lot. I think sometimes, with laid-back coaches, those things are overlooked and taken for granted."
According to Dozier, the team is fully in tune with how Obradovic runs the business: "We have a team that appreciates the coach and his coaching style."
"He's a legend for a reason. I'm blessed to have the opportunity to play for him."
Partizan will have the chance to redeem its loss against Maccabi Tel Aviv today at another away game at the Astroballe against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.
