To begin with, Anadolu Efes were no match for Real Madrid at home in a battle between two dominant EuroLeague teams in recent years. Guerschon Yabusele played his career game, accumulating 22 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 39 PIR to guide Los Blancos to a 23-point away victory.
Moving on to the second game of the evening, ALBA Berlin hosted Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz but suffered their second EuroLeague loss in a row.
Simultaneously, ASVEL tried to forget last week's nightmare at Crvena Zvezda. However, another Belgrade giant -- Partizan Mozzart Bet -- delivered an even bigger defeat to the hosts and left them with a 0-2 record.
Closing out the day, the clash between Panathinaikos Athens and FC Bayern Munich took center stage. Ergin Ataman managed to get the first EuroLeague win at the PAO helm despite the career game by Leandro Bomaro on the other side -- 19 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 24 PIR.
All EuroLeague matches are broadcast on EuroLeague TV.
