Kevin Garnett and the Boston Celtics agreed to a 7-year $35 million payout after his retirement.

Former NBA star Kevin Garnett was enjoying solid payments even after he retired in 2016, according to NBC Sports.

According to a report, Garnett has been earning $35 million over 7 years from the Boston Celtics, and the deal will expire in 2024.

The hefty payments are from the deferred salary Garnett got in his last two contract extensions.

According to Spotrac data, Garnett's career earnings amount to $333.3 million. Garnett became the NBA champion with Celtics in 2008 and was named the NBA MVP in 2004.
