Since signing the contract, Caboclo changed his agent. It changed the viewpoint of the entire situation.
"Joining Ra'anana was a late decision. I changed agents, and a lot of things changed for me. This opportunity appeared, and I thought it was a good opportunity for me, and I'm here and enjoying it," he told Yoav Modai from Sport5 after the game against the Brooklyn Nets Thursday night.
"I wanted to go there. My previous agent signed a contract for me there at an early stage, but I think I can reach bigger places with the way I played," Caboclo explained. "It's nothing against Venice, but it's my career. Some people don't love it, but this is my career."
Caboclo was one of the most dominant players in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, averaging 16.4 points and 9.2 rebounds for 22 PIR. He recorded 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 26 minutes against Brooklyn.
