However, AS Monaco head coach Sasa Obradovic emphasized the meticulous consideration given to Walker's readiness.

"We are still weighing. He is in the preparation phase. He worked individually, started training with the team, and now we are measuring where and when it is best for him to play," Obradovic underlined in an interview with Blazo Komnenic of Meridian Sport.

"He is currently not registered for the French league due to a limited number of licenses, leaving the question open. Our focus is primarily on determining the optimal platform for his performance within the EuroLeague. Playing exclusively in the EuroLeague poses its own set of challenges for any player."

In addition, Obradovic praised Walker's professionalism, work ethic, and love for basketball, highlighting the star's exemplary approach and behavior.

"I have never seen a better man, professional and lover of basketball, with such a career," the coach emphasized. "His character is truly phenomenal, and I believe in his potential contributions.

"The behavior, understanding, and normality he has are top-notch. Unrelated to the story of arrogance, multimillionaires, and so on. He behaves like a college player, is very kind, and condemns the arrogance that exists among us, especially among people who have a big ego."

As earlier reported by BasketNews, the four-time NBA All-Star has been involved in the 5-on-5 practices since last Tuesday and is expected to hit the EuroLeague floor soon.

Monaco is facing off against Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade on Wednesday and hosting ALBA Berlin on Friday.

Nevertheless, Monaco is cautious and won't rush Kemba's return, waiting for the right moment to arrive.
