According to Spanish news agency EFE, a special security protocol will be implemented, ensuring a more thorough inspection of items and objects entering the arena.
Originally scheduled to take place in Tel Aviv, the venue was changed to Valencia due to the military conflict with Palestine following terrorist attacks by Hamas in Israel.
The EuroLeague organization officially announced this decision on October 9, with the second leg to be hosted by the Israeli powerhouse.
Maccabi, having relocated their squad to Cyprus for training, plans to fly to Valencia on a private charter on Tuesday. Preliminary arrangements indicate that the team will conduct their practice at La Fonteta on Wednesday morning, just hours before the game.
In light of the circumstances, Maccabi are anticipated to travel with their own security team, which will be reinforced for this occasion.
The Spanish National Police will also implement a security plan, withholding specific details for safety reasons.
