Someone might understandably question why Nick Calathes is included on this list.

Barcelona terminated Calathes last summer, and Fenerbahce also explored options during the 2023 free agency.

Nonetheless, Calathes retains his status as the premier passer in the EuroLeague, a player widely respected and considered highly valuable to this day by his peers.

In the first two EuroLeague rounds, Calathes only saw 12 minutes of playing time. Unless Fenerbahce faces significant injury setbacks and Dimitris Itoudis has a change of heart regarding Calathes, it's difficult to foresee Nick securing a role that would keep him in Istanbul for another term.
