"First of all, I am satisfied with the fact that I am healthy and that I can train and play without any difficulties," the center said, expressing gratitude that he has effectively recovered from injuries.
"No matter how well I play, there are so many bad things that I have to fix," he said humbly.
Talking about his teammate James Nunnally and the mentoring that he receives from the American player, Koprivica had all positive things to say.
"It means a lot to me that he helps me.James played both in the NBA and at the highest level of basketball in Europe - in the best teams," Koprivica heaped praise on his sharpshooter teammate.
"He can always give me good advice and also support and encourage me."
Partizan, which has managed to accumulate 1 win and 2 losses in the EuroLeague competition so far, will travel to Greece to meet Olympiacos, who has similarly suffered an unimpressive start to the season.
Nevertheless, Koprivica is trying to get ready for the occasion by carefully examining the videos of his possible defensive targets in the Olympiacos game.
"I watch the video every time, before every game.I look at what the coaches send us, but I also like to look 'on my own', especially tall players, but also playmakers," said the young player, emphasizing the importance of switch defenses and bench contribution of rival teams.
"I might not be on the field when [Nikola] Milutinov is, so I'll play against [Moustapha] Fall or someone else. You need to know each player and watch the whole team," noted the young center.
Partizan will face off against Olympiacos on Thursday, in the second leg of the first double game week of the 2023-24 EuroLeague season.
