With five games on the slate, Friday marked the end of the first double week of the 2023-24 EuroLeague season.

First, AS Monaco, with Kemba Walker on the roster, took their second victory in a row against ALBA Berlin, who haven't won a single EuroLeague game so far this season. Walker, meanwhile, scored his first field in his short EuroLeague career.

Anadolu Efes Istanbul, who had been having a rough start as well, hosted Valencia Basket, who had surprisingly won all three previous games. Nevertheless, the Turkish team edged out a close win and finished the double week with two wins.

Meanwhile, Panathinaikos Athens welcomed Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in the Israeli team's second game after a break due to a war in the country. During the game, the Greek club's head coach, Ergin Ataman, was ejected after a fiery reaction to a referee's decision.

The game went to overtime following Josh Nebo's tip in during the last seconds of the fourth quarter. In the overtime, Kostas Sloukas had the chance to force a second OT but missed one of the free throws, and Maccabi achieved a much-needed victory.

To finish the day off, FC Barcelona matched up against FC Bayern Munich and gave them their biggest loss in EuroLeague history. Jabari Parker, meanwhile, played his best game in his new team so far, scoring 17 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in 22 minutes of playing time.

Virtus Segafredo Bologna, meanwhile, controlled the game against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade but needed extra effort in the last minutes to get to their third win.
