The Suns are taking a cautious approach with Beal's back ailment as they kick off the new season.

In a blockbuster trade in June, the Wizards sent Bradley Beal to the Suns, with Chris Paul heading to Washington.

Beal, 30, is coming off a 2022-23 campaign where he averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists over 50 games for Washington. He shot 50.6 percent from the floor and 36.5 percent from beyond the arc.

The anticipation for the opening night is always high, and this Suns vs. Warriors matchup adds extra intrigue. Kevin Durant will be playing in front of the Warriors' fanbase for the first time since leaving Golden State in 2019.
