Kicking off the action was the highly charged eternal Belgrade derby as Partizan hosted Zvezda. Both teams were eager to recover from their double-round week losses, but Partizan was the one who achieved their goal. Aleksa Avramovic demonstrated his clutchness, Partizan staged a 12-point fourth-quarter comeback and took down Zvezda with a two-point W (88-86).
Following that, ALBA got their first EuroLeague win while playing host to Milan. Nikola Mirotic posted 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 36 PIR, but that was not enough.
Next, Barcelona and Real put their unbeaten records on the line. However, Los Blancos used the home-court advantage in a Madrid thriller and stayed undefeated on all fronts.
Then the spotlight shifted to Monaco as they hosted Maccabi, renewing last season's playoff series. The game went one-sided, with the Roca Team beating the visitors by 28 points. Mike James scored 24 points and joined the EuroLeague 4000-point club alongside Juan Carlos Navarro, Nando De Colo, and Vassilis Spanoulis.
Simultaneously, Olympiacos left no chance for Anadolu Efes, rounding off Thursday's action.
