In the second consecutive game to kick off the 2023-24 NBA season, Luka Doncic showcased his extraordinary skills, guiding the Dallas Mavericks to a thrilling 125-120 victory over the Brooklyn Nets in their home opener.

Building on his stellar 30-point triple-double performance in the season opener, Doncic once again took center stage, surpassing his own achievements with an impressive stat line of 49 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.

He shot 16-25 from the field, capping off his stellar performance with a sensational one-handed bank-shot 3-pointer that essentially sealed the win.

When questioned about the incredible shot after the game, Doncic humbly replied:

"I don't know [how it went in]. I just saw it was, like, two or three seconds left. I said I just gotta put it up, you know? Gotta touch the rim so we can have a chance of getting the rebound ... But yeah, I don't know how I made that.

"It was feeling good, actually. I promise," he added.

Pressed further if it was his most difficult shot ever made in a game, Doncic revealed, "That's probably that one."

And Luka can talk tall on some of his shots, especially remembering his high-arching improbable 3-point shot in the right corner as time expired to send the 2018-19 regular-season game against the Portland Trail Blazers into overtime.

"Yeah, it is a consideration," Luka said of that famous shot. "But I think this one was tougher."
