Loyd played his first game in multiple months, competing in the French Basketball League (LNB) against BCM Gravelines Dunkerque. He began the match in the starting five and scored 15 points on 5-for-6 shooting in 21 minutes of playing time en route to a comfortable win.
Last year in the EuroLeague, Loyd averaged 12.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.3 steals for 13.4 PIR.
