He will miss the EuroLeague matchup against Panathinaikos Athens as well, not having practiced with the team on Thursday.
"It's a 90 or so percent chance he will not play. He is developing very well, but the important thing is that he recovers well," head coach Roger Grimau said the day before the match. "He's been feeling well, but the most normal thing is that tomorrow he won't be there to play the game."
In a strong start to the season, Laprovittola has been a key player on the Barca roster. He averaged 13.8 points, 2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists for 18.5 PIR per game in almost 24 minutes of playing time in the EuroLeague.
Without Laprovittola, Barcelona lost both games he didn't play in. With four wins and one loss in the EuroLeague, Barca will play against Panathinaikos at 20:30 CET on Friday, November 3rd.
