Bronny James expected to stay in the 2024 NBA Draft

LeBron ‘Bronny’ James Jr. isexpected to stay in the 2024 NBA Draft circle and is attending thedraft combine, according to separate reports by ESPN’s AdrianWojnarowski and The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

After leaving his name out thereto be eligible in this year’s draft and being in the NCAA’stransfer portal to seek out options, the younger James would nowtry his chances to get into the league this year.

The USC freshman has been fullycleared to play in the league as part of the Fitness to Play paneland will participate in all pre-draft activities starting with theDraft Combine this week.

The eldest son of the greatLeBron James has had a whirlwind start to his basketball career.Just over a year ago, he was diagnosed with a congenital heartdisease and had cardiac arrest in one of USC’s practices. He wasthen cleared to play for USC later in January this year, and heaveraged modest numbers of 4 points, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds pergame, shooting 36% from the field.

After completing his pre-draftactivities at the Draft Combine, James will have until May 29 todecide whether to stay in the draft or return tocollege.
