Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade (2-4) suffered a horrible shooting night but was still able to beat FC Bayern Munich (2-4) with a score of 74-68(12-19, 21-16, 20-24, 21-9)

The Serbian team was behind much of the game and was particularly smothered towards the end of the third quarter.

But that was where the Serbian team mounted a strong comeback.

After Nick Weiler-Babb scored two free throws with 3 minutes and 22 seconds remaining in the third quarter, and raised the deficit up to 13 points (43-56).

However, Crvena Zvezda showed resistance, and successive points by Mike Tobey, Rokas Giedraitis, Dejan Davidovac, and Yado dos Santos narrowed the gap despite a 3-pointer by Isaac Bonga before the end of the third quarter to 6 points (53-59).

In the fourth quarter, the Serbian team hit back hard. In 5 minutes and 16 seconds, Crvena Zvezda made a 12-1 run to gain a 5-point lead (65-60).

Despite the comeback, Bayern were not ready to give up, and Leandro Bolmaro answered with 4 points in a row.

While Milos Teodosic scored a 3-pointer, Bolmaro and Bonga fired back to tie the score at 68.

Ultimately, Crvena Zvezda was able to maintain its comeback, and a clutch 3-pointer by Yago dos Santos sealed the deal.

Milos Teodosic had a double-double of 16 points and 12 assists, with only 2 turnovers. He was both the highest scorer and the most efficient player on his team, accumulating 22 PIR.

For Bayern, Carsen Edwards had 16 points.

Bayern Munich: Edwards 16, Bonga 12, 6 REB, Bolmaro 12, 6 REB, 4 AST
