During the fourth quarter, two fans of the visiting team kicked the fence of one of the fan sections of the Fernando Buesa Arena and several seats, some of them being seriously damaged, El Correo reports.
The local security took action and tried to take the two fans away. During the conflict between the two sides, one of the fans suddenly approached one of the security guards who was trying to manage the situation and kissed her on two occasions, El Correo writes.
Two Basque police officers - ertzainas - took the offender to the local Portal de Foronda police station. The person was brought to court on Saturday.
Additionally, multiple fans tried to access the venue before the gates officially opened, as they tried to enter the arena using the entrances dedicated to team staff and players. After the game, Chima Moneke, who hit the game-winning free throws, received racial abuse online from Serbian fans.
