Aleksa Avramovic was crucial in Partizan Mozzart Bet's win over Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in theEuroLeague and the ABA League derby. However, he was shut down completely in the recent game against Baskonia, where the Serbian side suffered a narrow 83-84 loss.

Until a second before time expired, it seemed that the guests were going to win. Codi Miller-McIntyre missed an open shot for the win, but Chima Moneke drew the foul and converted both free throws.

Avramovic finished with one point and five missed attempts from the field. After the fame, he was visibly upset, naming himself as the main culprit for the outcome.

"I think we lost the game at the end. We had control throughout the match, and then we allowed them two 3-point shots and they went back to the game," the international guard said, per Mozzartsport.

"We had a chance to win," he continued before referring to his own performance.

"It wasn't the last three minutes. I played catastrophically for the whole game. I take full responsibility for the loss. In this game, I had to play much better. I really take responsibility after the good pace we had," Avramovic admitted.

The Serbian guard praised his teammates, especially Tristan Vukcevic, who "hasn't played a lot, but did very well" and pointed out that Partizan "ruined everything in the end, and that's it."

Zeljko Obradovic's team has a balance of two wins and four losses after six matches in the elite competition, and the next challenge will be Fenerbahce in Belgrade.

Prior to that, Partizan will host Split on Sunday for ABA League Round 6.
