In exchange, the Clippers sent Robert Covington, Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris, KJ Martin, an unprotected 2028 first-round pick, two second-round picks, a first-round pick from the Thunder, and a first-round pick swap.
Harden had expressed his desire for a trade from Philadelphia during the offseason, pinpointing the Clippers as his preferred destination. After months of on-and-off trade talks, his wish was finally granted last week, marking his fifth team in the NBA.
As reported by Charania, the Clippers are expected to start Russell Westbrook, Harden, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Ivica Zubac moving forward.
