In the trade saga, Petrusev was initially moved from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Clippers as part of the James Harden deal, before ultimately finding his way to Sacramento.
He has appeared in one NBA game so far (with the 76ers) and had one rebound in three minutes of playing time.
Drafted in the second round -- 50th overall pick -- by the Sixers, Petrusev played two seasons for the Gonzaga Bulldogs from 2018 to 2020, averaging 12.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
The Serbian native then spent three seasons in Europe, posting 12.8 points, 1.1 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per contest.
