Harrison, 30, most recently played official NBA games for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2023 NBA Playoffs, where he averaged 1.3 points and 1.1 assists in 3.5 minutes.
Harrison signed with the Memphis Grizzlies on August 31 but was waived on October 21, just before the opening night. Harrison totaled 2 points in four pre-season games.
Standing at 1.93 meters, Harrison has accumulated experience in 180 regular-season NBA games (23 starts) over six seasons with various teams, including the Phoenix Suns (2018), Chicago Bulls (2018-20), Utah Jazz (2020-21), Denver Nuggets (2021), Brooklyn Nets (2021), and Portland Trail Blazers (2023). His career averages include 5.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 15.4 minutes.
Last season, he also posted 8.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in 24.0 minutes in five regular-season games for the Trail Blazers before appearing in playoff games for the Lakers.
Moreover, the Kansas City native started all 50 of his NBA G League appearances with the South Bay Lakers during the 2022-23 regular season and G League Showcase.
He registered 12.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.1 blocks in 33.1 minutes.
Harrison went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft following a four-year college career at the University of Tulsa.
Despite his extensive NBA experience, this potential move to Milan would mark Harrison's first stint overseas.
The negotiations come at a time when Milan is grappling with challenges in the EuroLeague, having won only once in six games.
The Italian team has faced issues in the point guard position, particularly with Kevin Pangos, who was left out in the last EuroLeague round. When questioned about Pangos' absence, coach Ettore Messina simply stated, "It's a technical decision; we'll see if we continue with it."
