Haslem, for his part, only played in one NBA team during his 20-year career: the Miami Heat.
He also holds the record for the oldest player to ever make an appearance at the NBA Finals, being 42 years and 353 days old when checking into the third Finals game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets.
It was expected that Haslem would join the Miami Heat's front office, and the move came not long after his retirement as a player five months ago.
The former Heat captain will have the following duties, per ESPN: "working with the coaching staff, mentoring both Heat players and those assigned to the team's G League affiliate in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and representing the organization in the community."
The Miami Heat will face off against the Memphis Grizzlies on the ninth of November.
