Round 7 of the 2023-24 EuroLeague season starts with six matches on Thursday.

To start the day off, Olympiacos Piraeus hosted Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. The guests shocked the home crowd after a dominant first half, but Olympiacos managed to turn the game around. However, Codi Miller-McIntyre's fadeaway with 0.7 seconds left on the clock ultimately gave Dusko Ivanovic's squad the victory.

Meanwhile, Anadolu Efes Istanbul battled against Zalgiris Kaunas. Both teams looked to bounce back after tough losses last week, and the game needed overtime to determine the stronger squad. Shane Larkin and Will Clyburn overpowered the Lithuanian team and got a crucial victory.

Later in the evening, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv played their first home game away from Israel in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade against FC Bayern Munich. At the same time, it was Wade Baldwin IV's first game of the season after being sidelined with an injury. With one of their leaders back, Maccabi earned a close win.

At the same time, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade hosted Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul on the other side of the city in hopes of defeating the Turkish team at home for the first time since 2005. The home team was down by as much as 15 points but mounted a comeback and got the victory in the final seconds.

To end the first day of the round, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan welcomed Valencia Basket after a tough stretch in the tournament. However, the hosts easily marched to a 31-point win.

In the latest match of the day, two top-3 teams battled it out in Spain as Real Madrid hosted Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Nevertheless, the reigning EuroLeague champions showed their class and outplayed the Italian squad, capturing an easy victory at home.
