According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, Oubre sustained broken ribs and multiple bruises and cuts.

The player was walking near his residence in Philadelphia when he got hit by a car, Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN reports. The incident happened at around 7 PM on Saturday, November 11th.

An investigation has been launched by local law enforcement. The 27-year-old player was hospitalized that evening but discharged later. The Sixers winger avoided more serious injuries but will still miss significant time.

Oubre Jr. has been having a solid start to the season after moving from the Charlotte Hornets to the Sixers, averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds.
