Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins unleashed some fiery comments after a loss Friday night against the Utah Jazz. Two days later, he was fined for it.

The Grizzlies lost by six points. During the match, Jenkins received a technical foul, Jaren Jackson Jr. was ejected after receiving two techs, while Marcus Smart fouled out in the third quarter.

"One of the most poorly officiated games I've ever seen. Record it, I'm fine with it. F***ing atrocious," Jenkins said in the post-game press conference.

The NBA announced that the 39-year-old coach has been fined $25,000 for his comments.

"Jaren Jackson plays 23 minutes, and he's in the paint all night. He's one of the most professional players in this league. He gets a double technical foul, and the excuse I get is that he's charging at an official. It's called de-escalation," Jenkins continued. "29 free throws to 13, and I'm not that coach. You can go back in history - I've done this one other time."

"Our team is competing their asses off. Competing their asses off, and this is what happens? The interactions right now with the officials? Complete disrespect," he said. "I know what's coming. It's unbelievable the looks on their faces when I try to engage in a conversation to defend our guys that are busting their tails right now."
