Thompson’s jersey was ripped during the scuffle, which led to Green's second ejection of the season and two free throw attempts for Gobert. Green was issued a Flagrant 2 foul and Thompson and McDaniels were issued double technical fouls. All of them were ejected.
Without Steph Curry due to a knee injury, the Warriors suffered their first loss in their second in-season tournament game and first on their home court. On their other hand, the Wolves racked up their seventh straight win in the season.
