Oubre was hit by a car in the Philadelphia city center. The 27-year-old reportedly sustained broken ribs and multiple bruises and cuts.
The player was walking near his residence in Philadelphia when he got hit by a car. The incident happened at around 7 PM on Saturday, November 11.
An investigation has been launched by local law enforcement. Oubre was hospitalized that evening but discharged later. The Sixers winger avoided more serious injuries.
Oubre Jr. has been having a solid start to the season after moving from the Charlotte Hornets to the Sixers, averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
