Spain, Latvia, Greece, and Puerto Rico are emerging as the top contenders to host the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments leading to the Olympic Games in Paris, sources tell BasketNews.

The official announcement of the four host nations is expected to happen before the draw ceremony for the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, scheduled to take place in Switzerland on Monday, November 27, at 18:00 CET.

Sources from BasketNews express a high level of confidence that Spain, Latvia, Greece, and Puerto Rico will be officially named as the hosts.

Athens, Valencia, and Riga are the anticipated host cities in those three European countries, according to BasketNews sources.

Europe has a significant presence in the qualifiers, with 11 out of the 24 qualifying teams coming from the continent.

The qualifying matches are set to take place from July 2 to 7. The basketball tournament at the Paris Olympics is scheduled to run from July 27 to August 11.
