Jordan Poole has been a polarizing figure in the NBA throughout his career. Ever since he joined the Washington Wizards via trade this year, the spotlight on him has been brighter than ever before.

Seen as the leader of the team, Poole has been struggling at times, averaging lower numbers this season compared to his previous season with the Golden State Warriors. With just two wins in 14 games, the Wizards have the second-worst record in the league.

Talking with former NBA player Paul Pierce in the Ticket & The Truth show, Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett was adamant that Poole is not the right man to lead the team.

"I saw a joint where he was talking to a teammate, he wasn't looking at the play. That ain't no lead. Ain't nobody on the team listening to you, ain't nobody hearing you," Garnett said. "You telling mother*****r to dive on the floor, he's going to look at you, 'What?'"

"You ain't acting like it. You flexing champ s**t, but you ain't bringing champ environment in here," Garnett continued. "You learned this in Golden State , n***?"

Garnett went on to say that Poole, a champion with the Warriors in 2022, doesn't belong in the NBA.

"They got your ass out of there because he ain't falling in line. N***s like this don't belong in our league. He does not belong in the league," Garnett said.

"He's the head of a team, P," the former NBA MVP told Pierce. "Nah, I don't want my son at no n*** like that. You see how he's talking to teammates? 'Shut up, my n***, this is my team, I've got it.' N*** joining the joint, throwing the towel, snorting. You can say whatever you want about me, but I ain't never disrespected the game, I ain't never disrespected the position of being a leader."
