The Turkish team will host Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in Istanbul on Friday, November 25th. They will do it without two players - Elijah Bryant, who's been dealing with a foot injury, and Tibor Pleiss, who picked up an injury against AS Monaco last week.
Larkin, who injured his hand last week and didn't play in the Turkish League (BSL) last weekend, will play, Can announced on Thursday.
"Partizan is the second-highest-scoring team in the EuroLeague. They are a team that plays with a high tempo and has the ability to score easily in all positions. This is a match where our defensive concentration must be at the highest level," he said about the opponent.
"As it is known, we have had injury problems for a while. Our injured players Elijah Bryant and Tibor Pleiss will not be able to play in the Partizan match, but Shane Larkin will be in our squad despite his injury," the coach declared.
Larkin's injury is to his non-shooting hand, BasketNews sources indicate. The star player already had issues with his shooting hand last season after the EuroBasket 2022, where he picked up the injury, and missed multiple months of action because of it.
