Rui Hachimura will miss approximately a week of action after undergoing surgery, the team announced.

The player underwent a procedure to repair a nasal fracture on Friday. He picked up the injury during Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Hachimura will be re-evaluated by the team doctors in a week.

Hachimura is averaging 11.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 23.3 minutes of playing time per game for the Lakers this season. With nine wins and seven losses, the Lakers are currently seventh in the Western Conference.

Earlier in the week, it was announced that Cam Reddish would be considered day-to-day with a groin injury.
