The Monagesque team was up 12 points (29-41) to start the third quarter.
However, Olympiacos mounted a historic comeback, keeping Monaco to just 2 points while pouring on 27 points.
Monaco went on to lose the game, and it appears that the tragic third quarter still occupies a part of coach Obradovic's mind ahead of the game on November 30, when Monaco will host Olympiacos.
"I've never experienced 27-2 before, not as a player, not as a coach," said Obradovic to SPORT24. "Now it's in the past. We learned from that mistake, and I hope we don't repeat it tomorrow," he hoped.
"We saw the video of that third quarter. Now it's up to us to do the job tomorrow. In the EuroLeague, the record doesn't count; all the teams are tough opponents," Obradovic concluded.
The Monagesque team will host Olympiacos on December 30, with both teams having the same record of 6 wins and 4 losses.
