The guard had to endure an unfortunate car crash that injured his ribs and left him incapacitated in the early sections of the NBA regular season.

Good news has arrived on the matter, as Shams Chanaria of The Athletic notes that Oubre aims to return against the Hawks.

There is even optimism that the guard may return to the court against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday on December 6.

Oubre had sustained an injury to his ribs as he was hit by a moving vehicle on November 11.

Before his injury, the guard averaged 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
