Squaring off against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, Nicolas Laprovittola had a superb game with 28 points, a career-high 8 three-pointers out of 10 attempts, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, and 31 PIR.

Overall, the Catalan side shot the lights out, beating the French 101-92 and finishing the game with an astounding 17/26 (65.4%) from distance in addition to an excellent 20/29 (69%) on 2-point shooting. Barcelona scored 101 points while grabbing only three offensive boards, which only indicates how productive their offensive flow was in that outing.
Gianmarco Pozzecco saw his team suffer its 9th loss in 11 EuroLeague games, as the Italian coach is holding a 2-5 record since he first sat on the bench in the home game against Virtus Bologna (27 October).
The Italian tactician had an interesting take on the game, which he shared with EuroLeague TV.
"I am very sad because we played a great game, but we lost. They shot amazingly. I had the feeling during the game that I was watching Ray Allen. They shot 65% from three-point range," Pozzecco said.
"They went 17/26 from distance. Nicolas Laprovittola was unstoppable. In some situations he shot over our player's hand, I really have nothing to complain about my players. When the opponent has the percentages that Barcelona had, it is difficult to win," the 48-year-old coach argued.
Next up for ASVEL is Maccabi Tel Aviv in Lyon, in a game for EuroLeague Round 12 scheduled for December 6.
