The Serbian big man was issued a $2,000 fine for flopping, the league announced.
With 3:36 remaining in the fourth quarter, Jokic received the ball near the free-throw line. Matched up against Domantas Sabonis, Jokic attempted a jumpshot and missed it but managed to draw a foul after falling to the ground.
Sabonis could be seen complaining about the call, as Jokic's fall looked erratic. While Jokic converted both free throws for the foul, the league later determined that he flopped during the play, and the foul should not have been called.
