Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade star Kevin Punter is usually a nightmare for his direct opponents himself, but he has a EuroLeague nemesis of his own.

Punter took part in the BasketNews video session and admitted that Anadolu Efes Istanbul guard Rodrigue Beaubois is the best that EuroLeague can offer in perimeter defense.

Partizan captain highlighted that Beaubois has elite timing and long hands, which makes him very hard to beat in one-on-one situations.

"I do not know if I have said it, but Beaubois is so annoying," Punter told BasketNews' Donatas Urbonas. "I got a lot of respect for Beaubois over the years. Just me being a rookie in the EuroLeague, and then he blocked my shot almost every game. From the time I started playing in the EuroLeague to now.

"He is physical, and he has an amazing timing," the American continued. "I do not know if it is just on my shot or what, but his timing is ridiculous. And he has really long arms, too. Not sure if you know, but he has really, really long arms. Even last year we played him, I got past one time, and I went for a floater, he came right behind me and blocked it.

"And I am not really used to that because once I get past you and I raise up a little bit or get to my shot, I am good, but he is blocking it. He is probably one guy, I say, because I feel like he has really, really good timing on my shot."

Punter and Beaubois meet each other in EuroLeague Round 27 on February 29.
