EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (4-8) continue to suffer from a poor start in the EuroLeague season.

The Italian club suffered its 8th loss in the first 12 games, losing against FC Bayern Munich in an overtime thriller.

"We needed a foul on the last possession," head coach Ettore Messina said after the loss in a post-game comment for EuroLeague TV. "This is very bad because we knew we had to foul, but we didn't manage to stop the clock after such a great comeback and play in the 2nd half."

With 8 seconds left in the 4th quarter, Olimpia Milan had a 3-point advantage but didn't make a foul on the last Bayern possession, and Serge Ibaka sank a 3-pointer to take the game to overtime.

Bayern completely dominated during the extra period and took a well-deserved victory.

"I'm very frustrated for the players and ourselves, but it's a year where we don't manage to make even small things to win the game we already won. But congratulations to Bayern, and we move on," Messina added.

Olimpia Milan will finish their double-round game week with an away game against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade on Thursday.
