Larkin made all three of his free throws, putting Efes up by two with a score of 70-68. Panathinaikos was not able to score any additional points, and the Turkish team eventually escaped with a victory.
"The foul that decided the game," Giannakopoulos wrote, also tagging the EuroLeague official page on his story.
He then published another story in Greek, targeting Sreten Radovic, the head referee of the Panathinaikos-Efes game.
"Panathinaikos lost 16 of the last 17 away games when Sreten Radovic was the referee," shared Giannakopoulos.
This is not the first time that Giannakopoulos created controversy about refereeing in the EuroLeague. He also took to social media to criticize the refereeing performance in the game where Panathinaikos hosted Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade last season.
