The Nuggets were outscored by 19 points in the second quarter and by 12 points in the fourth quarter. Even though Jokic finished the match with 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists, he missed a whopping 23 field goals and recorded four turnovers.
That's the most field goals Jokic missed in his entire NBA career. The previous worst result was set in 2021 against the Charlotte Hornets when he missed 21 shots. These are the only two occasions when Jokic missed at least 20 attempts during a single game.
Jokic has been dominant this season, averaging 29 points (8th in the NBA), 12.8 rebounds (1st), and 9.8 assists (3rd) per game.
With fourteen wins and eight losses, the Nuggets are currently third in the Western Conference.
