The ten-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony revealed that he received offers from the New Orleans Pelicans and a number of Chinese Basketball Association teams after he retired this past summer.

A prolific forward, Carmelo Anthony has had a strong NBA career with innumerable accolades. Even after he retired this past summer at the age of 39, he still continued to receive offers.

The one-time NBA top scorer talked about the offers on his podcast, 7PM in Brooklyn.

He stated that he had numerous offers from "China," presumably from the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). In addition to the CBA, Anthony also received an offer from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Ultimately, the forward decided to stay retired and spent the summer acting as an ambassador at the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Before his retirement on May 22, 2023, Carmelo Anthony was on the Los Angeles Lakers roster in the 2021-22 season.

In his last NBA season, the forward averaged 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1 assist per game.
