To start the evening off, Zalgiris Kaunas welcomed AS Monaco in hopes of capturing a win amidst a multitude of injuries. However, Mike James played yet another dominant game and the Lithuanian team got defeated again.
Next, Olympiacos Piraeus hosted FC Bayern Munich in what was supposed to be the first Filip Petrusev's game with his new team after coming back from the NBA. The Serbian big man didn't show up on the court, but the Greek squad captured a solid win nonetheless.
Further on in the slate, Virtus Segafredo Bologna played against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, striving to take the second win of the double week. Lorenzo Brown played a dominant game, but Tornike Shengelia answered back with a 27-point, 8-rebound effort to bring the win to Italy.
Meanwhile, Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz battled against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in Dusko Ivanovic's first game against his former team. Although the hosts were always in the lead, the Serbian team bounced back after a miraculous triple by Rokas Giedraitis. However, Baskonia's Tadas Sedekerskis and Chima Moneke iced the game with a couple of plays and brought home the seventh win in the last eight games for the squad under Ivanovic.
After losing to Virtus, FC Barcelona looked to bounce back against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. The guests were surprisingly in the lead in the first half, with the advantage reaching 12 points by the end of the half, but Barca came back to the game and captured the win after a couple of clutch plays.
To finish the evening off, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne hosted Valencia Basket. Although ASVEL led during the first half, the French team scored just 22 points in the second half. Chris Jones made four three-pointers in a row in the last minutes, and Valencia took home an important victory.
